WHAT HEAT RECOVERY IS
Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) passes stale extract air and fresh incoming air through a thermal exchanger. Up to around 90% of the heat in the air you're already paying to condition is transferred into the incoming supply — without the two air streams mixing.
WHY IT MATTERS COMMERCIALLY
Conditioning fresh air is one of the largest single loads in a commercial building. Recovering that heat cuts heating and cooling demand, lets you downsize plant at design stage, and directly reduces the Scope 1 and 2 emissions counted against your net zero targets.
COMPLIANCE & INDOOR AIR QUALITY
Part F and Part L, NZEB and BER requirements all push toward high-efficiency recovery. You get the ventilation rates and filtration occupants need for air quality, without the energy penalty that used to come with them.
RETROFIT & UPGRADE
