A modern home system does two jobs: it cools bedrooms and living rooms in summer, and it heats them efficiently in winter using a heat pump instead of a boiler. We survey your home, tell you plainly what will and will not work, quote a fixed price, install in a day or two, and stay on for servicing so the warranty holds and the running costs stay low.

HOW A HOME INSTALL WORKS
1. Free Survey
We look at the rooms you want treated, check where the outdoor unit can sit, plan the pipe route so it stays hidden, and talk through wall-mounted, floor-standing or slim ducted options.
2. Fixed Quote
You get a written quote with the exact units, the work included, expected running costs and the warranty terms. It stays valid for 30 days and we are happy to talk through it.
3. Installation Day
Most homes are done in one to two days. Dust sheets down, one small core drill per indoor unit, everything vacuumed and cleared before we leave. No need to move out.
4. Handover & Aftercare
We commission the system, set up the app and show you how to run it cheaply. Then an annual service keeps it efficient and keeps the extended warranty in place.

How much does home air conditioning cost?
A single wall-mounted unit fully installed typically starts around the low thousands, and a multi-room system scales from there depending on how many rooms, the unit sizes and the pipe runs. You get a fixed written quote after the free survey — nothing is estimated over the phone.
Is it expensive to run?
Modern inverter units are very efficient. Cooling a bedroom overnight usually costs cents rather than euro, and in heating mode a heat pump delivers roughly three to five units of heat per unit of electricity, which is normally cheaper than running a gas or oil boiler for a single room.
How disruptive is the installation?
Far less than most people expect. Most homes are completed in one to two days, with dust sheets down and one neat core drill per indoor unit. Pipework is routed to stay out of sight wherever possible, and we vacuum and clear everything before we go. You can stay in the house throughout.
Do I need planning permission?
For most Irish homes, no — a domestic outdoor unit generally falls under exempted development, subject to size and placement rules. We check the specifics for your property during the survey and tell you straight if anything needs attention.
How loud is it?
Indoor units run around the level of a quiet library on low fan speed, which is why they are popular in bedrooms and nurseries. We also position the outdoor unit to keep noise away from bedroom windows and your neighbours' boundary.
What warranty do I get?
Up to 7 years on the equipment when you keep an annual service plan in place, plus our own workmanship guarantee on the installation. If something goes wrong, you call us directly — not a call centre.
Can it heat my house in winter?
Yes. Every system we fit is reverse-cycle, so the same unit heats efficiently in winter. It is an excellent way to warm a cold extension, attic conversion or home office without turning on heating for the whole house.
Do you service systems you did not install?
We do, in most cases. We will inspect the existing installation first and tell you honestly whether it is worth servicing or whether replacement is the better spend.
